performance problems due to cutegigs.front.js.php

  • I have just recently launched a site using both your plugins (cute gigs and cute records). They are a good fit for musicians. Tuning the site I have been able to get it from 8 secs to 3+secs to load (the site is fairly small so performance should be much better). At 3+ secs I find that the cutegigs.front.js.php component is taking 1 to 2 and half secs. By far the most significant contributor to the ‘slowness’. It is also a problem that it is a .php file since the caching plugin I am using won’t cache php files and I am not sure but I don’t think .js combining plugins will work on this component. Is there a way you can rewrite to eliminate the use of php on the client? or at least as a stop-gap can you look into why the component takes so long to load. Thanks
    PS Same goes for cuterecords.front.js.php!
