    What about the performance of that plugin?

    P3 Plugins shows that this plugin takes some time while loading pages and posts.

    What is the plugin doing while loading a page or posts?

    Or the other way round:
    What will be the impact, if I temporally disable the plugin? Is there still some functionaltiy left?

    URE adds some actions and filters and executes correspondent code when it’s needed. It (free version) does nothing for frontend though.
    When you deactivate URE – nothing will be left from its functionality.

    Be careful. If you gave some user (except administrator) a permission to edit other users, such user can not delete ‘Administrator’ user and assign ‘Administrator’ role to the other users, but while URE is active. If you deactivate URE, such security restrictions will be switched off too.
