Perfect Images + Easy IO

I just purchased Perfect Images + Easy IO on my new site I’m designing. Can anyone tell me if they’ve used this? If so I’m confused on what I need to do once I upload an image. I’ve optimized the images in the slideshow on my homepage but they look terrible and not even displaying the right size. Also do I need to regenerate my images in the perfect images media first? I’m really confused on how Perfect Images + Easy IO works and the steps I need to take to ensure both worked and also if it’s also displaying a retina image as well. Thank you!
