Why I chose Modula —

The competitors are just bad. Jetpack is hugely bulky and poorly coded. It slows sites to a crawl and it has too many things that they demand (or continuously nag) you use. Envira and NextGen have terrible user experience design, in my experience. All three are too expensive. Other competitors end up being either too slow; too bulky; too expensive; or constantly barrage me with marketing nonsense.

Modula has an excellent price point, and a very intuitive user interface. In short, it’s cheap and easy, and I don’t need a bajillion bells and whistles to accomplish my goals.

Modula has excellent customer support, and with the attitude of their company, it looks like they’ll keep it. I am very hopeful that they will keep doing the smart thing, and not just keep tagging on useless features like their rivals do, or at least keep features modularized so I only need to install and worry about the things I need.
