I took my plugin off test mode and I deleted all of the test payments, transactions and donors. The percentage funded still shows what it showed before I deleted everything. Then I made a $10 donation to test and it does not show up anywhere on my transactions, donors or anything. It shows up in my stripe account which is great but doesn’t show up in real time on my site. What is wrong? I did another donation for $1 and that one showed up. So my questions are: 1) How can I fix the thermometer to display the correct percentage ($11 of my $25,000 goal) and 2) Can I manually enter in the $10 donation somehow so that person can get credit on the site?

    Please help! This is urgent!

    Hi there,

I have several questions still to understand fully the situation:

    1) You say that you deleted all the “Test payments”. Were any of those Offline Donations, or all only Test Payments using the Test Gateway?
    2) You say that you made a $10 donation while in Live mode. With what Gateway did you make that donation?

    Regarding your questions:
    1) There’s a way to force the goal to a certain amount via the database. If you are comfortable changing your database directly I can give you those step by step directions. Let me know if that’s the case.

    2) You can do manual donations via the Offline Donations gateway. Enable that briefly. Do your Offline donation on behalf of that donor (meaning with their email address), then mark that transaction as “Complete”. It should then reflect that in the total Goal. Then disable the Offline Donation gateway again.

Let me know if you have further questions.

    1) Yes, some of those were offline donations. I used both when I first created to form to see how they both worked.

    2) I used the stripe gateway for both the $10 payment and the $1 payment that I made once the form was off test mode. It is possible that while I deleted the test transactions etc. that I deleted the live $10 payment. That’s why I made another $1 payment to test it again and that one showed up. So that’s why now I need to manually add in the $10 payment so it matches the stripe account. I believe that since my $1 payment showed up that maybe that was user error on my part but I am not 100% sure.

    Q’s
    1) I am comfortable editing the database with step by step instructions. Please proceed.

    2) I went ahead and added the other donation as an offline payment and that works now. thanks!

OK. Regarding forcing the update manaually via the database, here’s the process:

    1) Find the ID of your form. You can see this by going to “Donations > All Forms”. When you hover over the “Edit” link you’ll see in the bottom left of your Chrome browser the full URL which includes “post_id=XX”… that’s your Form ID. Or, look at the shortcode and you’ll see it there as well.

    2) Navigate in your database to wp_postmeta and search for _give_form_earnings.

    3) In those search results, look for the post_id that matches your Form ID.

    4) In that table row, update the meta_value to be the correct amount.

Let me know how that goes.

That worked great! Thanks for your help!
