Per-group / Per-forum user identity?

    I’m hoping you can check out a discussion I started and tell me if the Tools plugin includes the kind of functionality I’m describing there. Or might you consider adding that functionality?

    In short I’m thinking of a usermeta profile field which allows a user to choose a name which is unique per-group. So rather than using the display_name in bbPress, we’d use the name chosen by the user for the specific group to which the bbPress forum belongs.
