Per Content Front-end SSL causes too many redirects

    Using ithemes 4.6.13 and WP 4.2.1. If I turn on Per Content SSL and then check Enable SSL for a given page, that page becomes inaccessible, generating a “Too Many Redirects” error. I’ve seen reference to this issue in other posts, but never with a response or resolution. Does this feature even work in iThemes Security?
