We have Settings>General Anyone can register unchecked but are getting bogus sign ups.

Is it possible that via UM this is happening?

It’s the only change we’ve made in the last couple months (changed user management to UM)

Thanks for that. Do you find RC 3 or 2 to be more effective?

You can try with “reCAPTCHA v3”, where you can adjust the “reCAPTCHA Score” value.
A higher score value the reCAPTCHA is more sensitive, try with values 0.5 to 0.9

Note: There are different Site Key/Secret Key values for v2 and v3.
