# Pending Payment issue

 * Hey what’s the exact meaning of pending payment order in woocommerce as the payment
   is not received yet .. but does the payment is deducted from the customer account
   or not till yet?

 * According to [WooCommerce documentation](https://woocommerce.com/document/managing-orders/),
   section Order statuses, it is an order that is awaiting payment i.e. the payment
   has not been initiated.
 * Depending on the scenario this could be possible, for example, a cash-on-delivery
   case.

 * A **Pending** order means that your store hasn’t received the payment for the
   product yet, because the money hasn’t been deducted from the customer’s account.
 * The status will change from **Pending** to **Processing** once the user pays 
   for the product.
