  • Hello.
    Sometimes orders remain “pending payment” even if the transactions have been successful.

    I checked the logs and there are the following errors:

    All these errors belong to a single order.

    The problem seems to arise only for transactions made using a VISA card.

    Can you please check and fix the problem?

    This probably isn’t directly related to your issue but I am having problems with the callback from SumUp to the wordpress plugin and as I was looking through this board i saw your thread with the error log displayed

    Could you tell me where you see these error logs, please? I can’t find them!

    I put my web site live yesterday and this issue occurred for my very first card paying customer. Please advise

    @spannn1981 This is probably the same issue that has been ongoing for several months.

    In the checkout page if you have create account tick box enabled and the customer checks it, you will always get this error with sumup plugin.

    The workaround is to disable create account in checkout and to allow creat account separately or after the thank you for your purchase page

    Having made the suggested change above , after receiving some orders this evening, it seems the “pending payment” issue only occurs when customers are using a coupon code. Are there any thoughts about this please?

    @spannn1981 defo works with coupon codes on a couple of my sites
