Print Friendly and PDF Button
PDF works Safari and Chrome but not IE and Firefox (4 posts)

I've disabled everything in the plugin except to Generate a PDF.

In IE and Firefox I just get my normal print page (without a choice to save as PDF - except those I already have - Quicken, Adobe software etc.)

This should work for people who don't have any software to create a PDF from a web page.

In Safari and Chrome - works perfectly. Is there a way to force it to ask where to save the PDF (without changing browser settings? I need it to be idiot proof)

Print & PDF options should be visible according to your settings. Since they work perfectly in Safari and Chrome, I assume your settings are right. Can i have the URL of the page so that I can test on Firefox and IE??

Also, which IE version did you try it on?

    Firefox 23.0.1
    IE 10

URL is private (product launch which has to be confidential for now)
AND because it doesn't work well across all browsers I've had to uninstall the plugin. I Know IE (any version) is a pain but I expected it to work in Firefox.

I'm sorry that you were having issues. PrintFriendly tool usually works on all browsers on all platforms. But because of difference in how different sites are coded, sometimes some custom commands need to be applied. You can contact PrintFriendly at support@printfriendly.com and we'll be happy to help you further and take a closer look at why this is happening.

That will keep the URL from getting public as well.
