    Could you please
   elaborate more details regarding “that Wordfence likes” part? as I can see [many plugins](https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/pdf+viewer/)
   in the official WordPress respiratory that can do the same job aren’t abandoned.

 * Wordfence looks at the security of all plugins. That I guess what I’m after, 
   it is find one which that won’t harm my security. I did find one and this one
   doesn’t show an error in my scan. [Embed PDF Viewer](https://wordpress.org/plugins/embed-pdf-viewer/)
