PDF Upload / HTTP Error to Media Library

    Hi — I have a 53.6 KB pdf that I want to upload to my WP Media library but every time I try, I get a HTTP error

    There seems to be a work around by putting some code in the htaccess file but when I tried that and deactivated all of my plugins, I still wasn’t able to upload the pdf

    any suggestions on what might be happening?

    This only happened with the PDF — I tried with a 16 KB jpg and had no problems

    Same problem here…

    I updated wordpress and disabled all plugins
    and I still have problems the pdf.

    Media>browse>.pdf

    I get a 404: oops, this page couldn’t be found

    post>add media>upload files>.pdf

    I get a http error.

    Waiting for some help as well.

    frustrating isn’t it….

    I did ftp it and linked that way but seems like the media upload should work

    watch a few youtube videos about it / use filezilla (free to download)
