PDF on website no longer showing with updates

    I updated my WordPress on 2/28/17, and since then the PDFs posted on my website are not rendering correctly. Instead of showing the PDF the customer is clicking on, the PDF show code.

    I am using the template Genesis. I just need to know how to fix the PDF issue, as I have taken them down from my website

    Hi vistacom,

    From your description it seems like a caching issue or that some of the PDF permalinks were left un-updated after the WordPress core latest install.

    Could you please clear your website cache or disable the caching plugins in order to see if this will resolve the issue?

    Also, in order to recreate the permalinks you should navigate to Settings>>General>>Save.

    I have disabled all plugins, and I have had people on other networks try to download PDFS and it has the same issue as well. Any other ideas?
