# pdf filetype not supported?

 * I added some filetypes on the settings page (like mp4, txt, xls etc) and all 
   but pdf seems to work. When uploading pdf files, I get the following error:
 * Error: Filetype not allowed (ri history item-108.webhistory)
 * Am I missing something here?

 * can you please let me know how you have added the additional file extensions.
   Is this an issue with a particular pdf file or with every pdf file? Please provide
   more details.
