Pdf file has been damaged, can’t be opened

    Hi, I want to say thanks for your effort to make and maintenance this plugin.

    I am a new user of your plugin. And in my first try, I have no luck.

    After installed your plugin, did some changes in setting, and uploaded some pdf files, I got these errors:

    1. The document preview feature just shown the blank viewer. There is no page.
    2. I could download the pdf file. But when opened the file, I got this error message:
    “Adobe Reader could not open ‘name-file.pdf’ because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn’t correctly decoded).”

    FYI, I am using the latest version (3.9.3) of your plugin, and the latest version of wordpress (4.9.6). I have do Test Server Compatibility from your plugin’s Option menu.

    Could you help me, please?

    what type of server are you running? Windows or Linux?

    Sorry for the late reply.

    My web running on Linux.

    Additional info:
    When I checked the folder /wp-content/uploads/mdocs in my hosting and viewed the pdf files directly from there, each file is displayed perfectly.

    yeah its a server configuration issue can’t say for sure what, but I most defiantly has to do with the way your host has setup your server. I have seen this issue before an unfortunately there is no solution for you.

    I just want you to know, that my problem has been solved by a simple action: Updating the Acrobat Reader. So, the problem is not coming from your plugin, but my laziness. Sorry for taking your time just for that silly problem…

    It still a problem with the jpg file. But the most important is the pdf file is could be opened.
