After my PDF plugin stopped working, I inserted the strings given at the page below. Following this, the PDF documents were displayed correctly.

However – this week, after updating a number of plugins (including Autoptimize), the PDF plugin stopped working AGAIN.

I repeated the steps above – but this time it did NOT fix the problem.

Can you please suggest what I should do.

Based on a recent answer on the PDF Embedder forum they released a new version for which you would have to disable “aggregate JS”. You’ll have to reach out to them for further info I guess.

Disabled that switch and it now works. But damn – it certainly is slow in loading on the page.

yeah, I’m not a fan of disabling “aggregate JS”, but I don’t know their plugin so can’t say if it would be possible to keep that on.
