# PDF Embed stuck on ‘loading’

 * Currently on my clients website PDFs are getting stuck at the loading stage and
   won’t show properly on the pages.
    When looking in the console log it gives this
   message regarding the plugin:
 *  “Uncaught ReferenceError: pdfjsLib is not defined
    at all-pdfemb-basic-4.6.1.
   min.js?ver=5.5.3:1 at Object.PDFEMB_NS.pdfembGetPDF (all-pdfemb-basic-4.6.1.min.

 * There is a conflict occurring that is preventing the pdf.worker.js file from 
   being loaded on the page. The other PDF scripts are being loaded but something
   is preventing them from outputting the viewer on the page. When that particular
   error “script is not defined” has occurred in the past, it has been due to a 
   conflict—usually a GDPR plugin or Facebook pixel scripts. The best way to locate
   the issue would be to temporarily deactivate other plugins and enable them one
   at a time until the viewer fails again. This would indicate the source of the
   conflict.

 * Client site spata.co.uk has plugin PDF-Embedder and they reported it was hanging
   on page …

 * … (also on their other site bishta.co.uk) – it just shows a ‘Loading’ message.
 * So I cloned the site into Staging and surprisingly the page loaded and showed
   the PDF document…

 * … so I can’t find out if there is a plugin conflict as it’s working OK in Staging.
 * I thought maybe as a quick solution I’d simply clone from Staging back to Live
   BUT I did the clone and I get the same issue.
 * It’s a live site so I can’t start deactivating plugins live there.
 * One piece of information that may help is the fact that their license expired
   earlier in the week and they renewed it.
 * I know that plugin conflicts can happen and, in Staging, to deactivate them in
   turn until the faulty one works but in this case, in Staging, it already works.
 * I’ve looked at the site error logs and used the FF console and debugger but I
   can’t see any errors being flagged.
