    Hi,
I appreciate this plugin very much.

A question: How can I get the stats on PDF downloading?

I mean, I would like to know how many people are downloading certain PDF files I post. Does this plugin provide that information?

    Thank you.

    Hi Olivia,

Thanks for question. Yes you can, put you will need to set up a couple of things.

First make sure that the Outbound Link tracking is enabled.

Then, add pdf to the Download extensions to track input box.

Hit save and you are good to go.

Double double check its working, make sure you clear the cache is your pages are cached, click on the link, and then go to Google analytics and take a look at your real time stats. It should register there.

    Thanks

Thank you ... Awesome! I got it.
I am very happy with the plugin, by the way. Great job!

It took me a bit to figure out where to find the stats on Google Analytics, however... , but I finally did ... lol.

For those who are having the same struggles, here is the tip:

Sign In to Google Analytics > Go to [Reporting] tab > from the menu on the left, click [Behavior] > click [Events] > [Pages]

It has stats of people clicking links, including downloads.
