PDF does not get watermark print after "purchasing" PDF file

    Dear all;

    I’m using WC 2.4.6 and WP 4.3.
    The installation of module was easy; I have set Watermark as following:
    Enable Watermarking: YES (checked)
    Files to watermark: (blank)
    Custom text: long text to make it visible in any case
    Font face: Helvetica
    Font size: 27 (yepp, should be visible :))
    Watermark colour: red
    Y Fine Tuning : 150 (previously tried 270)

    The Produkt set up in WooCommerce is a PDF File (V1,4) –> this should be printed with watermark after purchsing.

    Use case:
    test user purchase this product over WooCommerce (PDF file) using coupon (like suggested to do fake purchase). The user gets the link to download the product. Downloaded PDF file does not have any watermark at all 🙁
    Tried ca 100 times before writing this post with different WaterWoo General Options.

    Please give me a hint where do I have an error – would appreciate your help a lot!

    In addition to the use case:
    The PDF files has been generated in
    wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/2015/09/

    The listing of the files looks like:

    Thanks for your really helpful and detailed email. I’m going to look at this plugin today and WP 4.3/Woo 2.4 – it might need some work. I will get back to you ASAP.

    Closing this because I’m helping @doubleitmedia directly by email; however, the problem has to do with PDFs consisting solely of embedded images/vectors. WaterWoo is watermarking them; however, it watermarks under them so they are not visible. Hopefully I’ll find some time to come up with a fix for this limitation.

    Very good, proffesional and extreme fast support, thank you very much for that @littlepackage !!
    I have created my PDF’s over printer (hardware) which has put the text down in a PDF as a image. Creating the PDF via f.i. Word (converting then DOCX to PDF), everything works perfect!
