    Hello,

I just installed the plugin and was testing out a few things. I noticed that [pdb_list] is very slow to update and often doesn’t even show recently added names.

However, if I open up the page with [pdb_list] on it in an incognito window, or a different device, then all of the entries show.

However, if I log back in to my wordpress site, the [pdb_list] goes back to missing the names.

Is there any way to make this consistent or speed up the update time? What could be causing this?

Also, is it possible to put the sign up form and the list on the same page? I tried this, but didn’t know if it was also contributing to the inconsistent view of the list.

Sounds like an issue with caching. Most of the time, caching is suspended for logged-in users, so this could explain why the list displays differently while logged in. Page caching can cause these kinds of issues, it may be a good idea to disable page caching on a page with a Participants Database list. (you can use other forms of caching)

There is nothing functionally wrong with putting a signup form on a page with the list–other than perhaps not being a good idea from a performance standpoint.

Thanks for the response. It does seem to be a caching problem. Once I disabled caching for that page, everything seemed to work as expected. And if this is helpful to anyone, caching was also breaking the “Thank you” message. All good now!
