I have a client whose site I archived. Now I come to restore to a staging site locally and none of the wpvivid backups I made can be uploaded. All 5 taken over the past few months say PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure.

This is very concerning since trying a few others has the same result.

Instead of a local test site I recreated the live domain and tried the same and it worked.

It just doesn’t seem to work on a local install. I backed up successfully restored live site, this time it went to multiple files but these still would not restore to local. I have little confidence that my backups are secure at the moment.

    Hello @patbell101

The error ‘PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Invalid archive structure’ is usually caused by a corrupted backup zip or insufficient disk space on the upload site.

But according to your description, neither of them seems to be the cause.

Therefore, we would recommend you to directly copy the backup files to the wp-content/wpvividbackups directory, then scan and restore.

    Kind Regards,

    That worked.
