    can you setup paypal subscriptions with this plugin? so that when a user pays for an ad for 30 days, for example, it will create a paypal subscription for 30 days that will automatically renew after 30 days.

    Hi @tyankee,

    Thanks for contacting me here.

    AWPCP supports the ability to have recurring payments from listings via PayPal, Stripe and other common gateways.

    We don’t use PayPal subscriptions for this, because it lacks in flexibility for a lot of things (e.g. cancellations, managing user payments, etc). So we do this via renewals right now.

    We send manual reminders for renewals via email. The user must go through and renew via PayPal or the gateway(s) you’ve configured to use. It’s not automatic–that’s the difference.
