    So we accidentally left PayPal sandbox mode on in the plug in, and a customer then ordered. The order was processed through woocommerce, but no payment was received into our account. The account linked was a regular account, not a sandbox one, and so was the customers. I have contacted PayPal as well as the buyer, but I want to be sure this means no money should have left the buyers account, correct?

    That is not possible. If your account settings was indeed on sandbox, no real account can even get to the payment page on Paypal side.

    Which is what I thought, but after some looking around and calling PayPal, he would have done so with a guest account. I was thinking sandbox since after the transaction, I noticed the box was clicked in the settings page.

    I am pretty sure it wasn't that because as stated, the Paypal sandbox is only allowed to take the accounts that was created within the Paypal. All others will not work.
