    Hi

    ‘Things don’t appear to be working at the moment. Please try again later’

    Im getting the above error from PayPal when trying to checkout. Once it also displayed ‘Fatal Error’. Then the booking process just stops right there. However the older CP Appointment Calendar checks out fine.

    How can I resolve this?

    I just solved the problem myself. By the currency text box I used a symbol (£) instead of an abbreviation (GBP). When I changed £ to GBP it just worked!

    Hope this helps other people who have been facing the same problem.

    Hi,

    In most cases the problem is related to the PayPal settings option for allowing un-encrypted payments, please check that option into the PayPal account used to receive the payments. The account must allow non-encrypted payments.

    Other causes of that error message are:

    – Passing currency symbols (“$”, “£”, etc.)
    – Passing prices with values other than integers (1, 2, 3, etc.) and decimal points (“.”). For example, “1234.50” is correct, but “$1,234.50” isn’t allowed.
