  • It’s no joking. A phishing website was hosted at the domain of till several minutes. That’s a WordPress website. The phishing package inside ‘wp-includes’ appears to have been removed.

why are you posting that here?

    That’s a WordPress website.

what do we care? so what.

I’m reporting an incident here because it’s a WordPress website. I care because the phishing package was installed inside the wp-includes folder. And a partial package was still there.

that is a self hosted install of wordpress — contact them. no-one here has any control over that site.

NOT to mention, that you couldnt even get this thread into the right area of the forum.

where exactly is the “how to” in your original post?

I meant to share this report with those whose websites have been exploited in the same manner so that they can exchange information.

I have nothing more to say to you at present or in the future.

Too right. macsoft3 is being antagonistic just ignore him/her.

I also have had this phishing attack on my website which i am trying to resolve. Hacker files found in WP ecommerce plugin folders, as well as something inside wp-content/upload/paypal/cgi-bin/webscrcmd=_login-run/webscrcmd=_account-run/updates-paypal/confirm-paypal/
Anyone else experience this and what to do about it?
