    Hi There,

I’m currently implementing a training site in Bulgarian. We have to sell courses in BGN currency, so I set currency to BGN. However when you pay with PayPal you got amount in USD and not in BGN. For example, the course price is shown 100 BGN, PayPal forces you to pay $100.

T believe this issue affects all other non- USA currencies as well.

Is it possible PayPal to be made currency aware?

    Thank you!

    Best Regards
    Vasil Vasilev

  • I have exactly the same issue, for Romanian currency (RON).
Using PayPal, it ask me to pay 100 $, if I set up the price to 100 RON.

    Hi,

It’s due to paypal method does not support your currency, it is not related to plugin learnpress. You can consider to use another payment methods by using e-commerce add-ons of learnpress to support more currency https://thimpress.com/wordpress/learnpress/.

    Regards,

    Hien Phan.

    Dear Hien,

Thank you for your answer! Really, when I tested payments with Euro the currency in Paypal was set correctly.
