I notice that the PayPal pay later text: “4 interest free payments” shows on the single product page for external/affiliate products. My opinion is that this should not be. Since the external payment platform will not use a Woocommerce gateway, the inclusion of anything from this gateway plugin on external/affiliate product pages is inappropriate.

For example, my external products link to Rarible and they do not use PayPal at all. This is misleading for the customers. It seems my options are to include the message on all products or no products.

Let me know if you disagree or agree.

Can this behavior be changed? Until then, is there a workaround? (e.g. apply css based on product category).

    Hello @aaron843

thank you for reaching out to us, we are here to help.
Whether this is appropriate or not, is not for us to say, we simply try to help the users of our plugin with the questions they have 😉
Our plugin has got the settings to avoid this messaging from showing up on the product page (you can also remove the button from this page if that shows there as well). Go to the plugin settings and find the option for “Enable message on Single Product” and disable that. This should remove the pay later messaging.

Let me know if this gets you the result you want.

    Kind regards,
    Joost
