Support » Fixing WordPress » Paypal issue with virtual and non-virtual products

  • Hi, I am hoping someone can help. I am using Woocommerce and am getting ready to offer kits on my website that contain both a downloadable product and a physical product. I would like these items to be purchased as one product (in other words, it’s a bundle(one product) – not separate products). So, I need the product to have a “downloadable” status for the digital file but also the ability to charge shipping on the physical item that will be shipped later.

I am anticipating an issue because, in the past, my downloadable products were not automatically completed by paypal unless they were checked both “downloadable” and “virtual”. I am concerned that with this new kit the same thing will happen because I can’t mark the product as “virtual” because I need to charge shipping, I can only mark it as “downloadable”.

Does anyone else have these set of circumstances? If so, how should it be handles? Any info is appreciated. BTW, please respond in layman’s terms, I am a complete newbie!
