• Unless I am missing something, the connection to the PayPal site does not allow a user to bypass creating a PayPal account and simply pay via credit/debit card using PayPal.

Why is this the case? Any other website I’ve used or created where I directly linked to PayPal allows users this option to pay via credit card without having to create a PayPal account to do so.

In order to accept credit card payments from your customers without asking them to have/create a PayPal account you must turn on the PayPal setting “Paypal account optional” into your PayPal account profile area.

If you don’t see that option in your PayPal profile area, please read the following page for further information & instructions:

Thank you for using the plugin!

So that is a PayPal feature to change within my PP account and not an ABC feature?

Yes, that is a PayPal feature. If the type of PayPal account that yo have supports and have enabled that feature then you will be able to accept payments from users without having to create a PayPal account to
    do so.

    Thank you!
