Paypal integration not working

Hi Guys,

I am testing a paid course, so created a sandbox account on paypal. The payment goes through. But the information is not received by the LMS, so basically the students remained unrolled. I am using PDT token.

I get this error on top

Paypal payment attempt failed at June 18, 2021 4:27 pm: Can’t connect to Paypal: cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 45001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

Can you provide some insight on how to solve it.

Dear Prasun Sen,

I contacted service provider, they said all Ok from them. And then I tried deactivating all plugins and even changed themes. Nothing helped with that error

Then I installed woocommerce plugin and connected the course with woocommerce (as described (https://blog.calendarscripts.info/namaste-lms-bridge-for-woocommerce/). There the payment goes and is successfully redirected to the checkout page. But not to the course page and the student remained unenrolled.

Can you please provide some insight.

When going to paypal

If the WooCommerce payment has the same problem, it will not work.
If the product is successfully purcahsed in Woocommerce (and you have set all properties as instructed in the post) it will work.

The Paypal links look fine, I see nothing wrong in them.

By the way the Paypal Sandbox often has this problem which doesn’t exist in live payments. So you may want to test with a live account for a small amount, for example $0.01
