    Hi Malcolm

    Hi Graham

Firstly, your problem is a different one to the issue in the original support ticket, and needs to be in a new support ticket.

The IPN URL looks correct for your site, and is accessible so it should not be a problem.

So please create a new support ticket, and include the following extra information:

Are you getting Sales information from PayPal (i.e. are the details of purchasers being added to Sales)?

Are sales being marked as completed on the sales admin page?

Have a look at the PayPal IPN history (here) and look through until you find any message that has an error response. Do you find any error IPNs?
NOTE: IPNs may contain sensitive data so DO NOT post the data on this forum.

You say “still getting”. How long have you been getting IPN error reports? How many are you getting?

I apologise for tagging on to a previous thread – I thought it sounded like the same problem.

I must admit to being confused – when I visited IPN history, it told me that IPNs were not enabled, and yet it clearly said in the email that it was failing at a URL it could not have known about unless I had told it! I tried to enable them on the URL above and it said I needed https, not http, so I changed the protocol prefix and it seemed happy, but since then I have received another email saying that IPN has been disabled.

It appears that I have received one warning message every day from 13 to 21 December (PayPal purchases were happening between 28/11 and 19/12) and also more recently on 27/03 (I had PayPal sales for the current show on 22/03 and 27/03).

None of the PayPal sales come through with any data in the salePPxxx fields of wp_show_sales, although they do have an email address and a saleTxnId, and saleStatus is “Completed”. The money appears to be appearing in out PayPal account correctly, so it is not overly concerning.

    StageShowGold version is 5.7.7

    Many thanks,
    Graham

Finally resolved by re-entering the IPN setting on the PayPal admin pages, and it appears that there was not a problem with StageShow.

Correct – problem with PayPal, not StageShow (or perhaps PEBCAK! 🙂

    Thanks, Malcolm!
