Can you check what version of PHP you are running on your server? Is it at least 5.3 or higher?

    Hi,
Yes 5.3 is the minimum that will run on the server I use.

Ok, that’s odd you would be getting that error then. Do you have any caching or CDN services in place on WordPress or on the server directly?

hi there, im getting same error…everything worked fine for couple of weeks now, people had no complains, i got my money, but about and hour ago i updated the plugin and now i cant get into settings in my dashboard.. and when u click paypal on page you get fatal error..what to do?

and my php version is 5.2.14 …is this a problem? can i downgrade your plugin so it will work again? please send me a version before:)

    Hi,
I tried deleting all caches and in the end deleted the plugin and reloaded it but still get the same error.

    Update.

Despite the web service provider telling me that the minimum version they run on is 5.3 it turns out my site was on 5.2. I have updated to 5.3 and the plugin now works fine.
Thanks for your help it is much appreciated.

Glad to hear you got it worked out!

I am having the same problem with this plug in as well. Can anybody please help me. When you update the server to 5.3 who does that? you or your hosting provider? Thank you

    Hi,
I went to my service provider control panel, then after logging in to the manage your site panel they had a piece of software in the web tools section that was titled switch php version. I just set it to 5.3 in the hope that it might work and hey presto it change everything to 5.3 and the plugin worked. Hope you can sort it out I know from experience what a steep learning curve it is.

Yes, as @pac-man said, you need to make sure you have PHP 5.3 or higher running on the server for the site. Otherwise, you’ll need to revert back to 1.1.6.3.7 with our plugin.

For more details you can see my answer here.
