PayPal Express Checkout Redirects to Paypal

    Hi,

    We downloaded and installed this plugin hoping that at checkout, the Paypal payment screen would keep the user on the site.

    Right now, when user selects Paypal Express Checkout, she is directed to the Paypal.com website.

    I deactivated all plugins apart from WooCommerce and this plugin to test for errors. Looking forward to any insight, thank you!

    Hi @reroutelifestyle

    Currently the plugin enables you to add the PayPal button on the product and cart pages to speed up the checkout process. By the time the customer has made it to the checkout page the process is less than express. You can do this by going to WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout > PayPal Express > Checkout on cart page and/or Checkout on Single Product.

    However, we have an enhancement request to add the PayPal Express Checkout to the top of the checkout page, to give a similar process to the cart and product pages. Hope this helps!

    Hey John,

    Thanks for such a quick reply. Does this mean this plugin does not have the capability to keep the customer on the website during the checkout process?

    Instead of being redirected to Paypal.com, we are looking for a plugin that loads the Paypal checkout in a frame below the logo basically.

    Good question! Currently the plugin only redirects from the checkout page; however, I’ve added the enhancement request to allow the option to redirect or enable express checkout on the checkout page. You can follow that enhancement here:

    It is is currently, the express checkout process is only on the product and cart pages. Hope this helps!
