Support » Plugin: Visual Form Builder » Paypal Error: Cart is empty. Using checkboxes with prices

  • Resolved tfc

Hi Matt, Amazing plugin. I was able to do exactly what I wanted for my site and clients site.
Now, I’m just down to the last part, making it spit the form to paypal.
I have several different check boxes for what classes the user would like to select. Each check box is a different price.
I can see the running cart total up top, but when I click submit, It successfully goes to paypal, but says”Error Detected, Your Cart is Empty”
    Please help:

One, I noticed that you are using your own CSS and missing out on some of the styles that help contain the running total box to the form itself.

Two, I noticed that you have a couple of console errors related to a missing myjs.js file. This might be why the items themselves are not showing up in the running total box when clicked and why PayPal is saying the cart is empty. Another thought here is that you are using em dashes in the options name and this could be something else causing problems.

I removed the myjs.js file issue, and I know its not the em dashes because I tried just removing the payment portion from that and it still didn’t work. How do I make it only pull from the css in the plugin ?

I removed everything and now have simple one option for the payments and still noting.

    i’m usin wp 3.4.2

@tfc, did you solve it? I see on your form that Paypal now gets the proper value. I’m getting the empty cart message on my form:
