# PayPal Error

 * Setup was very successful but when processing a payment, I receive this error:
 * PayPal Error
    Correlation ID: 92a847da2dc4b Ack Code: Failure Version: 3.0 Error
   Number: 10002 Short Message: Security error Long Message: Security header is 
   not valid
 * Comments are closed.
 * API id, passwords, etc were properly obtained from PayPal. Can you give me some
   direction on the source of this error?

 * After Googling the error number and a more thorough review of coding, I discovered
   that when cutting and pasting one of the API values from PayPal, I had truncated
   a character. Once this was corrected, the PayPal transactions worked as advertized.
   Very nice plugin. I consider this post [resolved].
