[resolved] Paypal button, too large and not showing correctly (4 posts)

    On my Cloud2911 site I have created a table with paypal buttons. They should be small, but they are showing large and they are filling a large space. Can you help me figure out how to have a smaller button (this is the smallest Paypal has) and how to line it up with the product choices? Thanks!

    Love the plugin! Just need a bit of help to perfect it!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    The reason for this is how your theme adds extra styling to the buttons. To change this, please add this to the "Custom CSS" textarea on the "Plugin Options" screen of TablePress.

    .tablepress-id-1 .column-4 input {
      width: auto;
      padding: 0;
      border: none;
      vertical-align: middle;
    }

    Additionally, you'll need to insert the HTML code for the PayPal buttons without linebreaks, i.e. the code like

    <form target="paypal" action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
    <input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick">
    <input type="hidden" name="hosted_button_id" value="...">
    <input type="image" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_cart_SM.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!">
    <img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1">
    </form>

    needs to be entered without line breaks as

    <form target="paypal" action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post"><input type="hidden" name="cmd" value="_s-xclick"><input type="hidden" name="hosted_button_id" value="..."><input type="image" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/btn/btn_cart_SM.gif" border="0" name="submit" alt="PayPal - The safer, easier way to pay online!"><img alt="" border="0" src="https://www.paypalobjects.com/en_US/i/scr/pixel.gif" width="1" height="1"></form>

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks so much Tobias! It worked beautifully. One more question. Is there a way to make the product headings on the page (Salesforce Mastery, Reports Mastery etc.) that are located in a cell alone, in bold with a color background so it shows a bit better. I am sure it is just a tweak in the coding, but I don't want to mess it up now that it looks so great!

    Heading to review the plugin now. Definitely getting high praise from me!

    Hi,

    no problem, you are very welcome! :-) Good to hear that this helped!
    And thanks for rating the plugin, I really appreciate it!

    Making those product headings stand out is also possible with some CSS code. Please take a look at the TablePress FAQ page at http://tablepress.org/faq/highlight-cells-or-content/ for an example of how to change the background color. For bold face text, you would use the font-weight: bold; CSS property additionally.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
