# Paypal button problem

 * I copied the buy now button script from Paypal. If I paste it in a post, it does
   not work.
 * If I paste it in the sidebar, it works fine.
 * Why doesn’t it work in a post or page?

 * You cannot use a script inside of a post without a lot of work. If it is a javascript,
   see [Using Javascript](http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Javascript). If it’s 
   a PHP script, you can’t run those inside of a post, only on templates, like javascripts,
   without some serious messing around and plugins.
 * Keep it in the template files and it will work great.
