    Yeah, it’s non-obvious. We got a few requests for this over the last year or so. That article I referenced is sort of a hack, but it does work quite well in a variety of use cases 🙂

    You could probably even do it by simply redirecting all IPN messages from the offsite site to the membership site for paypal button payments…

    So if you don’t do that and follow the above approach – make sure that the IPN is set for the membership site and does not contain the button website domain… (though that should be obvious).

    (if I’m not missing something in understanding of the system)
