    I have the latest version (3.08.1) of WP-invoice installed on a new website that I am running through MAMP. The PayPal express checkout button is not displaying on the invoice page. I’ve checked the global settings and the Default Payment Method is PayPal and the PayPal Username is the correct PayPal account. I tried deactivating all other plugins and it still didn’t work. I’d really appreciate any help on this?

  • Please, try to change your theme to WordPress default(TwentyTen, TwentyEleven) to investigate that issue.

    Thanks for the reply Denys. Sorry, but changing the theme to WordPress default didn’t make a difference. Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Do you think it could have anything to do with the fact that it’s on a local host (MAMP)?

    Didn’t you change WP-Invoice code, or PayPal button code on Settings page?

    I used the default URL for the PayPal button “”, I have selected “yes” for use in test mode. The only WP_Invoice code I changed was to remove symbol ‘&’ in line 243 and 312 in order to overcome the problems with installation because of PHP 5 changes. This was necessary in order to overcome a fatal error when installing the WP-invoice.

    When I go into the individual invoice under the heading “Payment Settings” the default Payment options had a blank drop down beside it. The link “Toggle Advanced Payments options” doesn’t work also. If there is anything else that I can do to help clarify the issue just let me know. Thanks.

    Please, try to systematically disable other plugins. If that doesn’t help, please try to reinstall WP-Invoice. You shouldn’t lose your settings, because they are stored in the database.

    I reinstalled the plugin on my local host (Mamp) but it still didn’t fix the issue. As a last effort I uploaded it onto a live server and then I re-installed the plugin, thankfully that worked. Thanks Denys for your help. 🙂
