Hi,

I have a question regarding the Paypal Standard option at Checkout.

Can I use my Paypal personal account or do I need a Business account?

There are various accounts you can have:

Personal can’t accept credit cards so no good if you are selling.

I have the Premier account, sort of in between Personal and Business. It cost me nothing to set up though of course there are transaction fees. I am a one-man band with small sales.

Bigger companies may want the Business account. You can start with Premier and upgrade it to Business later.

Best to study the PayPal documentation.

I think PayPal have remove the Premier account, so I guess I should do a Business one.
