    That’s not a typo, that’s the email that I receive every time I receive a payment through StageShow and PayPal.

    Subject: Unknown PaylPal Account (Exeter Street Hall)
    Body: Payment was from an unexpected PaylPal account (paypal@exeterstreethall.org)

    It looks like it’s coming from WordPress rather than PayPal and I can’t think of where else within WordPress but StageShow. Any ideas? I have the full header of the email if that’s useful.

    Yes … it is from StageShow. The IPN message from PayPal includes the email address of the PayPal account that the payment has been paid into, and this is compared with the PayPal Account EMail in the StageShow settings. If they are different, then it sends an email but it still processes the payment.

    I suspect that PayPal will use the Primary EMail for the account when it sends emails, but will allow you to use any email associated with the account when creating the shopping trolley.

    I see. I’ve just made the change in settings so that my paypal address is the primary one. I hope that works now.

    As a suggestion you might want to fix the typo “paylpal” to “paypal” and perhaps add something to indicate that it’s an issue between stageshow and paypal. It’s taken me a while to figure it out!
