# Payment Status Incomplete

 * The user is being sent to the Paypal site. They’re successfully being page and
   redirected to the following mysite.com/page_id=170&r_id=1-54061eb887faf&type=
   paypal.
 * When they arrive on the page the following message is appearing:
 * Class/Event: Event Attendance Registration – Full Convention
    Primary Registrant:
   Payment Type: PayPal Payment Date: September 2, 2014 Amount Paid/Owed: C$40.00
   Incomplete Payment Status: Incomplete Registration ID: 1-54061eb887faf Transaction
   ID: 0
 * I am not sure why the status of incomplete is showing. The transaction is showing
   as complete via paypal.
 * Have I set something up incorrectly?

 * Yes I have set up the PayPal IPN and it still seems to set the status as incomplete.

 * Hi Jeff,
 * This can be caused by a number of things, including the server configuration,
   a security plugin blocking the Instant Payment Notification, or a transactions
   page that takes a long time to load up and times out. There is section of the
   documentation that you can follow to troubleshoot and try potential solutions:

 * I have went through the various trouble shooting methods and do have the IPN 
   number set up correctly.
