    G’day Erwin,

“Processing” means that the entry has been accepted and the customer’s browser has been redirected to DPS PxPay’s payment page. If it stays at “Processing”, then the customer hasn’t paid and has not cancelled.

I’m not sure whether PxPay handles abandoned transactions (I recall hitting that with SagePay, but can’t remember if PxPay does it). Maybe you can check with your DPS rep. If it does, then “Processing” will change to “Failed” eventually through FPRN callback, otherwise they’ll stay “Processing” forever.

    cheers,
    Ross

    Hi Ross

    thanks for the explanation.
I’ve got 3 payments on ‘processing’ but payments have been received.
For all of those 3 there hasn’t been notifications send out.
Would that be a ‘glitch’ on the DPS side that it stays on ‘processing’ although payments has gone thru?

    Cheers
    Erwin

That means that both FRPN failed (i.e. the callback from DPS to your website directly to notify you of a payment) and the customer’s browser didn’t return to your website.

Do you have any security plugins active on your website? Those things can be pretty aggressive and I’ve known them to block callbacks and browser returns from payment gateways. (I hate them, they generally suck website performance and imbue owners with extensive paranoia without protecting from all that much)

Sucuri Security is running on the site.
Strange thing is that today’s payments getting the ‘approved’ status and notifications are coming thru. And nothing is changed regards to security settings or plugins.

I’ll just keep it on a glitch for now.

Love your point about security plugins… I bet ithemes security is one of your favorites 😉
