# Payment method menu disappears when active

 * When in _My account_ and when payment methods were saved in Stripe, then an extra
   menu _Payment methods_ option is inserted between _Addresses_ and _Account details_.
   When I click that menu option, I get there all right but then the option disappears
   from the menu. This kind of disrupts the visual feedback of a active menu in 
   a different color that I was planning to create. See screenshots before and after
   clicking _Payment methods_. Can you tell if this was already fixed since version
   4.9 ? Or is this may be a theme issue?

 * Problems like this can often be due to the theme overriding the default PHP templates
   for the My Account page. Does the problem persist if you switch to the [Storefront theme](https://woocommerce.com/storefront/?aff=10486&cid=1131038)?
