I am using Participant Database Version 1.9.3.4 along with Participants Database Custom Templates Version 2.3 and Participants Database Member Payments Version 1.2.8.

I am using a Paypal Button that works just fine with the the [pdb_member_payment] shortcode.

The problem is with the logging of the transaction. It seems that the Payment plugin did not install the “Payment Log” field and therefore my site can not receive de data back from Paypal.

Is there a way I can manually add the “Payment Log” field and if so what should be the parameters for this field?

Otherwise, should I try re-installing the Payment plugin? I don’t want to mess up whith what is working well so far…

    Many thanks,
    Jacques

That is odd. Do you have any field groups that are defined as an “admin” group?

If not, set one up, then reinstall the Member Payments add-on. Don’t use the WordPress plugin delete, that will scrub your data. Just deactivate the plugin, then delete it using FTP. Then reinstall from the original zip file.

You might want to back up your db first just to be safe.

Thank you so much… I am up and running now!

    I followed your instructions :
    1. created an admin” group (I think I had renamed it to something like “administration”
    2. Made a full backup
    3. Deactivated the plugin
    4. I went to remove the plugin from my C-Panel but did not know exactly which branch to remove???
    pdb-member_payments
    assets
    languages
    pdbmps
    fields
    payment_log
    payment_status
    paypal_ipn
    paypal_pdt
    shortcodes
    transaction
    templates
    5. So, at this stage I simply decided to reactivate the plugin and to my surprise the “Payment Log” field reappeared in my list of fields.

Thanks again for maintaining the Participants Database and for your support,

    Jacques

Glad to hear it. Thanks for letting us know how it went.

By the way, if you want to delete the plugin, you just need to delete the top-level directory of the plugin, it will be something like:

    wp-content/plugins/pdb-member_payments
