The payments listing is just a record of who has filled in the form. It doesn’t tell you if someone has made a payment. There is a thing called IPN (instant payment notifications) but I can’t figure out how to make this work.

Thanks for the explanation. I’m just using the default form, and people have filled it out and been kicked over to PayPal for payment, but I don’t see any record on the WordPress side of anyone having filled out the form… at least no record in the plugin.

On your dashboard menu is a ‘Payments’ link down the bottom. Click on this and you should see the list of people who filled in the form.

If there is nothing showing something has gone awry. Ive just tested on my sites and it all works as it should.

Hi – Same question. I have this plugin on two websites.

On one, it is set up for donations. On the other, it processes payments, even downloads.

The PayPal part seems to work fine. But nothing ever appears on the Quick PayPal Payments list.

Is there some linking I should have set up?

    Thanks.

Correction — Quick PayPal Payments is not doing downloads for me, just donations on two sites — still no reporting from the form to the Quick PayPal Payments list.

One more note — I realized I have this on a 3rd site, for a church. The list works on that one, and not on the other two. I’m looking for the difference, but haven’t found it! Two of them are the same theme. All are WordPress 4.1.

The simple answer is: I have no idea what’s gone awry.

The plugin verifies the form has been filled in correctly, adds the data to the payments list, saves it to the database and then displays the ‘waiting for paypal’ message and them finally heads off to paypal.

So it’s possible that the payment list is being updated but isn’t displaying or the payment list isn’t being updated.

Without access to the site it’s impossible to know which of these it is.

Can you email the site URLs via http://quick-plugins.com

    Hold the press!

I’ve found the problem. I update the way the plugin checks for payments at the last update and didn’t change one line of code. It’s fixed now so if you want an update to test let me know via the plugin website

I’ve sent a copy of the updated plugin to Mike. Hopefully the problem has now been fixed.

Thanks for your work on this, aerin. If you need anything from me in terms of troubleshooting, just let me know. Donation coming your way as well.

    Update: THANK YOU.

Oh — I meant to write more, but enthusiastically hit “Enter”

moorezilla and I noticed a problem with our installations. The developer immediately looked and found the issue — a line he removed, but should not have, as he made improvements.

He immediately fixed it, and sent me a copy of the fixed file. I’ve installed it and all is perfect.

This is a really nice plugin, and a very helpful and responsible developer.

Donate to him. – I will.

Donation gratefully accepted. The problem has been fixed and when I’ve finished testing the other new features I’ll update the plugin
