payment gateway for India ?

    Hi folks,
    I am based in India and i would like to use Citrus pay(www.citruspay.com) as my payment gateway.
    Can you please tell me is it possible to use a different payment gateway? I choose India as base location in settings and i am getting only 3 options in payments settings..manual payments, paypal express and simplify commerce by mastercard and sadly none of these are useful for me as paypal can not accept payments from within India (weird but it is due to some government policy in India), and simplify commerce website says that the business must be based in US or Ireland in order to use there payment gateway service…so it seems basically marketpress do not have a payment gateway for Indian markets…
    any help in resolving this issue would be highly appreciated..

    Hey there Jasmeet,

    Hope you’re well today!

    Using other payment gateways with MarketPress is definitely possible but in order to achieve this you’ll have to custom develop it for MarketPress.

    We are working on a major update for MarketPress that will have more payment gateways but at the moment I don’t have information which ones will be included in the free version of the plugin.
