# Payment gateway deactivated error

 * I have many many errors on php logs that says the following:
 * “`"PHP message: Payment gateway with handle 'wc-payment-method-stripe' has been
   deactivated because its dependency 'wc-blocks-registry' is not registered. Read

   while reading response header from upstream`”
 * Im not using WooCommerce blocks plugin, and I believe many customers are facing
   an issue during checkout unable to choose a payment method.
 * Any help is appreciated!

 * Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it
   via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.

 * I’ve received a confirmation from the developers that yes this error notification
   is a bit confusing.
 * This error is essentially related to the Cart and Checkout block and it should
   not show unless the Cart and Checkout block is used.
 * Our developers are going to [improve this error notification](https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce-gutenberg-products-block/pull/4176)
   by making it clear that this error is related to the Cart and Checkout blocks
   and it will not show unless [WooCommerce Blocks](https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-gutenberg-products-block/)
   installed (where Cart and Checkout blocks is part of the plugin).
 * At the moment, you don’t have to worry about it as it only affects Cart & Checkout
   blocks, and, as you said, you don’t use WooCommerce Blocks plugin.
