Support » Plugin: Payment Gateway Based Fees and Discounts for WooCommerce » Payment fee not removed after selecting different shipping method

  • So,
I’ve installed the plugin and set up some payment methods depending on the shipping methods.

    For example,
For “Local pickup”, only PayPal and Cash on Pickup are enabled.
For “Flat Rate shipping method”, PayPal and Cash on Delivery are enabled.

If I set up a “Cash on Delivery” fee, if I change shipping method from flat rate to Local Pickup, the fee remains and does not change.

Select one of the products in category and try it for your self.

    Any ideas?

    Hi @hrevis,

Could you please let us know how have you set up the payment methods based on the shipping methods? It would be great if you can share the steps to replicate the issue so that it would be easy for us to assist you in a better way.

    Regards,

You can replicate the issue if you set up different payment methods for different shipping methods.
For example, you can set it like this:
    – “Cash on Pickup” payment method to “Local pickup” shipping method and
    – “Cash on delivery” payment method with a fee, with the standard shipping method.

If you try to change the option on the checkout you’ll see that even though the cash on delivery option is hidden, the fee remains. Sorry for not changing it on live but we ‘re in production mode and we can’t risk charging any extra fees to our customers.

    Thank you.

    Hi @hrevis,

Apologies for the delay in response.

I have replicated the issue where the payment fee is not getting removed when the shipping method is changed.

However, I have added the issue on our Github repository and soon we will work on this and get back to you with an update.
